NlightN Multimedia is one of those rare companies that does AND teaches. We've worked with some of the UK's biggest companies, as well as some of its smallest. We've created brand new companies to sell internet services. We know what it takes to communicate, market and sell on the internet. Because we've done it ourselves.
We're a small group of professionals with a wide network of trusted developers, designers, writers and editors. For major projects, we put a team together with the specific skills needed. We always source our talent from the UK with the single exception of our award winning artist who is US based.
So what, exactly, do we do?
We develop revenue-generating internet based sites and applications for companies of all sizes.
What does that mean? Here's an example...
A couple of years ago, Collins Education (the part of Harper Collins publishers that's responsible for educational materials) asked us to create an application for them. The details aren't important but you can find out more in our programming portfolio.
This application was created on time and to budget despite being the most sophisticated piece of software either they or we had ever worked on.
In the year of its launch, this application was the single biggest revenue generator for the whole of Collins Education. This is a company that supplies thousands of products to the UK's entire schooling system. And one application, created by us, generated more profit than all other activities put together. In fact, in the first year after launch, Collins brought in revenues that were 10 times the cost of having us create the software.
Here's another example...
We spotted a gap in the market for a high quality Driving Theory Test website. One or two sites existed already but they were very poor. We used our PHP skills to quickly create PassYourTheory. We've gone onto dominate the market (type "Hazard Perception" into Google and you'll see our landing page: passyourhazardperception.co.uk). We've made six figure money from Passyourtheory and it continues to be a profitable and easy to manage part of our business. Created in a couple of months nearly 3 years ago and now in its second design version, PYT continues to receive daily testimonials from delighted customers who've passed using our materials.
