We've been creating digital products since the company was formed in 1999. Below is a small selection of our most recent projects.
Virtual World (2007/2008)
Winner of two major awards, Virtual World was created for Collins Reference in 2007 and is currently being translated by us into Estonian. It is a fully packaged CDROM for use in schools. Virtual World is available to all UK Primary Schools and is currently being considered for online deployment. Virtual World was developed by us entirely in Flash and we were responsible for all Flash programming, design, graphics and sound recording. This is what Jim Irvine, who managed the project for Collins, said: Collins were pleased to work with NlightN on the creation of Virtual World. From the bidding process through to final delivery their approach was utterly professional and their friendly approachable attitude and flexibility were much appreciated. This project had extremely challenging deadlines, yet NlightN were able to deliver on time and to budget. Overall I found them a very good company to do business with

Defence Academy (2007) |

We developed a Flash based product for the Defence Academy: the primary learning establishment of the armed forces of the UK. This product was in the form of a tour of their museum which course attendees would use to help them understand the equipment they were looking at (eg the Mark 2 Challenger tank). This product was produced in Flash and deployed on a Dell PDA device. Wing Commander Peter Edwards, Chief Technology Officer of the Defence Academy said: Thanks very much indeed for all of your, and your company’s, outstanding work on this project – the results were all that I’d hoped for, and then some.
